Job Summary We are a longtime local company based right in the heart of Gallatin Valley and we are hoping to find an experienced, dependable Automotive Mechanic to join our team. We specialize in transmission repair and replacement as well as other drivetrain-related services. Our ideal candidate would be comfortable around hand and power tools and have basic knowledge of transmissions and driveline repair/servicing as well as other general mechanic experience. We are looking for someone who is positive and open to taking instruction from guys who have decades of combined experience. Duties Transmission removal and installation Servicing drivetrain components: transmission, transfer case and differentials Occasional general maintenance and repair Communicate with management during repairs to prevent mistakes and catch problems before they occur Working efficiently and safely in a dynamic environment Maintaining a clean and organized work area Qualifications Has automotive repair experience (bonus if you have knowledge of transmissions/drivetrain) Can complete basic diagnostics Is proficient in hand and power tools/air tools Is dependable and able to work independently Pays attention to detail and takes pride in doing the job right the first time

Pay :

Up to $35 an hour

DOE Hours :

[Full-time] Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm. Closed daily for lunch.
