Ford of Helena in Helena, MT is looking for an Experienced Lube Technician to join its service department. This role focuses on fluid maintenance and basic vehicle upkeep: oil changes, transmission fluid and underhood fluid level checks, belt and filter inspections, and air pressure and gauge verification. It's a hands-on position that keeps the shop moving, and a strong fit for someone with real shop experience who takes the work seriously. What We Offer Hourly compensation range of $17 - $20 per hour depending on experience Health, medical, and dental insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off and vacation Employee vehicle purchase program Flexible scheduling Growth opportunities within a family-owned dealership Long-term job security What You'll Do Complete oil changes and fluid maintenance services accurately and efficiently on every vehicle that comes through Check belts, filters, tire pressure, and fluid gauges for wear, damage, or out-of-spec conditions Address worn parts before they lead to breakdowns or further vehicle damage Verify that vehicle systems and components are functioning correctly after each service Drive vehicles as needed to confirm proper operation before and after service Work with power tools, machine tools, and hand tools safely throughout the workday What We're Looking For Minimum 1 year of service department experience required; prior Ford dealership experience a plus Ford certification a plus; technical degree preferred Strong working knowledge of basic automotive systems and maintenance procedures Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment Ability to read and follow service procedures and specifications Strong reading, math, and basic computer skills Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods High school diploma or GED required Ford of Helena is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
