Job Description
Placer Motors Subaru has an opening in our new state of the art service facility for an experienced Lube Tech . Starting pay is $17.50/hr or more DOE Duties will include:
- Minor maintenance such as oil & filter changes, engine and cabin air filter changes, battery tests/services, tire rotations and tire service .
- Completion of multi-point vehicle inspection forms
- Communicate customer vehicle repair and/or maintenance recommendations to the service advisor. The right candidate must have the following:
- A minimum of six months experience as a lube tech (or equivalent post-secondary education experience).
- Must be able to rotate, dismount, mount and balance tires
- Possess at least the minimum hand tools, power tools and storage box to complete the responsibilities of the position.
- A minimum of a G1 ASE certification (or an ability to get it within 60 days)
- Manufacturer certifications are a bonus! Subaru certifications are even better!
- An ability to safely operate a vehicle equipped with an automatic or standard transmission.
- An insurable driving record / valid Driver's License!
- A great work ethic and an eagerness to be a team player!
