Position:

We are currently in need of an experienced general mechanic to add to our team. The ideal candidate will perform repair and maintenance on all types of domestic and foreign vehicles in accordance with industry standards, run diagnostics and work closely with our parts vendors, lead tech, and front office to provide our customers the best possible service. We need a knowledgeable mechanic with a strong work ethic and great communication skills.

Auto Repair Technician Compensation and Benefits:

Auto Repair Technician Responsibilities:

Running diagnostics Utilize shop lifts, air compressor, and supplied shop tools, i.e; A/C machine and such Comprehensive vehicle inspections Use power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks Detail vehicles to ensure they are clean and presentable once work is completed Using All Data for labor time look up and processes Obtain parts pricing and availabilities from parts vendors Completing all repairs Be able to perform basic vehicle services, i.e; fluid services, brakes, tire rotations Communicate status of repairs clearly to shop manager Communicate with shop manager to obtain necessary parts Document all repairs performed Document all materials used Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner Follow all company safety procedures Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste

Auto Repair Technician Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Completion of vocational program preferred, but not required Able to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license Supply personal tools Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of auto repair and maintenance processes Knowledge of power tools and their safe operation Ability to work independently or as part of a team
