Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Mechanic/Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair. You will play a vital part in ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain engines, including diesel engine repair and automotive engine system repairs, ensuring optimal powertrain performance. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems effectively. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire alignments, brake repairs, and suspension work to uphold safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely while performing mechanical repairs or auto body work. Diagnose and repair advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), automotive electrical systems, and other vehicle electronic components. Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards during all repair procedures. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background working with automotive repair shops is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine technology, powertrain components, and vehicle systems. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and interpreting schematics for complex electrical wiring diagrams. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely, handle manual tasks efficiently, and work on various vehicle models including standard passenger cars and trucks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
