DeMarois Buick GMC & Mercedes-Benz of Missoula is looking for an experienced B-Level Automotive Technician to join our service team. We're looking for a technician who can work independently, produce consistent quality work, and handle a wide range of maintenance and repair work. You do not need to be a Master Technician, but you should be comfortable diagnosing and repairing vehicles beyond basic maintenance. What You'll Do Perform maintenance, inspections, and general automotive repairs Diagnose and repair brakes, steering, suspension, cooling, electrical, HVAC, and other vehicle systems Complete engine and drivetrain repairs within your skill level Perform manufacturer recall and warranty repairs once properly trained and certified Accurately document diagnostic findings and completed repairs Communicate needed repairs and additional findings clearly Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Complete manufacturer and dealership training as assigned Work with service advisors, dispatch, parts, and other technicians to keep vehicles moving through the shop What We're Looking For Previous professional automotive repair experience Ability to independently perform general mechanical repairs Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic procedures Ability to use scan tools, service information, and standard diagnostic equipment Your own professional technician tool set Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work as part of a team ASE certifications are preferred but not required. GM, Buick, GMC, Mercedes-Benz, or other dealership experience is a plus, but technicians with strong independent-shop or other manufacturer experience are encouraged to apply. Why Join Our Shop?
