Job Description

We are currently seeking Store/Service Managers for our locations in Charlotte, NC and surrounding towns. Our search is based upon individuals who are eager to set the bar high and work effectively to maintain everyday work flow. Your duties within our Store Manager Team can consist of Day to Day business operation, resolving issues with vehicles and customers, executing end of day reports, and more!
Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls Provide repairs to customers Manage a safe and clean work environment Professionally provide support via phone and email Act as liaison between Sales, Trading and Clients to handle requests and to resolve problems Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, forms Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports Develop and maintain a filing system Update and maintain office policies and procedures Run a Successful Auto Repair Center Maintain contact lists Work with co-workers to assist with client and vendor inquires Clerical and administrative duties, as required Provide high level of service to our customers Skills Ability to comprehend functions and procedures to disseminate that information in a clear and precise manner to others Ability to prepare and maintain confidential records and reports Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) or Google Drive Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Self motivated team player who is willing to learn Proactive work ethic Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Certain Requirements may not be necessary to start training: Must be 18 years or older High School Diploma or equivalent 2 valid forms of ID Ability to work with others Knowledge on Automotive Repair At least 1 year of experience Ability to handle tasks and follow procedures As a Godspeed Auto Group/Meineke employee you will: Service a wide variety of vehicles Work with local and national fleet accounts Receive ongoing training to advance your skill set Be part of a well-known international brand in a locally-owned centerAbility Requirements:
- This position is considered "Heavy" physical demands.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs., unassisted, to service automobiles.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time with both arms above head to service automobiles.
- Must be able to kneel for long periods of time to service automobiles.
- Must be able to bend and squat for long periods of time to service automobiles.
- Must be able to balance and work in awkward positions and have full use of both arms and hands to service automobiles.
- Must maintain clean work area and be able to walk on wet, uneven, and slippery surfaces.
- Work up to 6 days (with overtime).
- Operate a motor vehicle safely.
