Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled mobile Truck/Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing trailers, ensuring they are safe and operational for use.Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on trailers including brake repair, electrical work, and mechanical repairs
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with trailers
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
- Repair or replace damaged parts as needed
- Align and weld components as necessary
- Perform heavy lifting tasks related to trailer maintenance
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to service trailers efficiently
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:- Prior experience as a Trailer Mechanic or similar role
- Proficiency in brake repair, electrical work, and mechanical repairs
- Ability to align and weld components effectively
- Experience in heavy lifting tasks related to trailer maintenance
- Knowledge of servicing various trailer types
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues accurately
