Job Description

The Trailer Technician position has a vital role in keeping J.B. Hunts equipment operating safely and efficiently. You are responsible for performing intermediate maintenance, service and repair of J.B. Hunt trailers, containers, chassis and other equipment. The expected hourly pay range for this position is: $23.85 to $35.75 per hour .
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced trailer preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on our trailer inventory, including air brake systems and FHWA inspections Troubleshoot and complete repairs to OEM and company standards within SRT and warranty guidelines Follow safety procedures and complete work orders Support specialized equipment (e.g., refrigerated units) and escalated repairs Mentor junior technicians as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must be at least 18 years old At least 2 years of hands-on mechanic experience servicing semi-trailers or military equivalent A/C and DOT (FHWA inspections & air brakes) certified Able to supply your own basic tools or purchase through J.B. Hunt purchasing program
Preferred:
