Job Description

Overview:
Maymead Inc, a reputable construction company, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Heavy Equipment as well as diesel engines and possess a strong understanding of automotive mechanics. This is not an entry-level maintenance position. This position offers competitive pay, consistent hours, and the opportunity to work with a diverse fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment critical to our daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections on diesel-powered fleet vehicles Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various types of construction equipment and trucks Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety concerns Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed Ensure all work meets company and industry safety standards
Requirements:
Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with Heavy Equipment and small trucks and vehicles Advanced diagnostic and repair skills beyond routine maintenance and oil changes Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair mechanical issues Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and stay updated on new technologies and techniques in automotive repair MUST have your OWN tools. Tools are not provided for your use.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Overtime as needed Weekends as needed Must be able to work night shift
