Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, including light trucks and heavy equipment. Your expertise will ensure that all vehicles are operating safely and efficiently, delivering top-tier service to our valued customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced automotive systems and contribute to a trusted industry leader. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools to execute repairs efficiently. Repair diesel engines and perform heavy equipment mechanics tasks as needed for commercial vehicles. Manages inventory of parts and supplies and orders new parts as necessary. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Expertise in ADAS calibration, air brake systems, and automotive electrical systems. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for mechanical systems repair. Extensive knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmissions, suspension systems, and powertrain components. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Ability to diagnose issues accurately using automotive diagnostics tools; experience working with GM vehicles is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
