Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Automotive Service Advisor/Writer who understands that great service is about more than writing repair orders. Duties Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests Provide detailed explanations of needed repairs and maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs Prepare accurate estimates using automotive estimating software and communicate costs clearly to customers Upsell additional services and maintenance opportunities to enhance vehicle performance and safety Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services Maintain thorough records of all service transactions, client interactions, and repair details Handle cash transactions accurately and manage service write-up documentation efficiently Requirements Proven experience in dealership or automotive service environments as a Service Advisor or Writer. CDK experience a plus but not required. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including diagnostics, transmissions, brakes, suspension, oil changes, tire services, shocks & struts Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly Experience in auto service management and sales techniques such as upselling and client communication Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately handle cash payments Prior experience with collision repair processes is a plus Above all, following up with clients is Join our team to be part of a vibrant dealership committed to excellence!
