Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this energetic role, you'll utilize your mechanical expertise and technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems. Your hands-on skills will ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently, providing customers with reliable transportation and peace of mind. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced automotive technologies, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), automotive wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools, all while fostering a customer-focused service environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including electrical, powertrain, transmission, suspension, and ADAS components Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing or repairing mechanical parts such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical wiring harnesses Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical issues accurately Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake repairs to ensure optimal performance Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during repairs while adhering to safety protocols Diagnose and repair diesel engines and powertrain components with precision and attention to detail Collaborate with team members to estimate service costs accurately and communicate repair findings clearly to customers Experience Proven dealership or service center experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic procedures Hands-on experience with automotive repair including transmissions, vehicle suspension system repair, wheel alignments, and vehicle systems troubleshooting Familiarity with automotive service software for auto estimating and work order management Skilled in working with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in welding, vehicle maintenance, and the use of various hand tools and power tools Demonstrated ability to interpret schematics related to automotive electrical systems and vehicle transmission systems Previous experience working on both gasoline and diesel engines in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about automotive repair excellence!
