Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our service bays meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle models, including GM vehicles, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and technical knowledge to deliver exceptional automotive service. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across vehicle electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, suspension, and other key components. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines (gasoline and diesel), transmissions, steering, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical wiring diagrams interpretation. Conduct precise vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake replacements to ensure optimal performance. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Repair or replace vehicle components using hand tools and power tools; perform welding when necessary for structural repairs. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to diagnose electrical faults in automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Collaborate with team members on service estimates, parts ordering, and ensuring timely completion of repairs while delivering excellent customer service. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, wiring diagrams, and electronic systems such as ADAS. Hands-on experience with powertrain repairs including transmissions (manual and automatic), vehicle transmission system repair, and diesel engine repair. Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive diagnostic tools. Familiarity with vehicle suspension system repair, alignment procedures, and vehicle maintenance best practices. Ability to interpret automotive electrical systems diagrams accurately and troubleshoot complex electrical issues. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Service technician experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred.
