Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Express Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. This role involves providing fast, efficient oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure customer vehicles are running smoothly and safely. Experience with dealership settings, automotive repair, or as a service technician is highly valued. Duties Perform oil changes using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring quality and efficiency Conduct basic vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks such as tire rotation, fluid top-offs, and filter replacements Assist with vehicle diagnostics and identify mechanical issues when necessary Use hand tools, power tools, and alignment equipment to perform maintenance tasks Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times Engage with customers professionally, explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate Assist in tire service including mounting, balancing, and rotation Support other technicians with vehicle repairs or maintenance as needed Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards Skills Dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostics equipment Experience with oil changes, tire services, alignments, and general vehicle maintenance Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various maintenance tasks Knowledge of automotive service standards and safety protocols Sales aptitude for recommending additional services or products to customers Mechanical aptitude combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving This position is ideal for individuals passionate about automotive repair who thrive in a team-oriented environment dedicated to quality service.
