Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Service vehicles through routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake replacements. Repair diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics components to ensure optimal performance in demanding conditions. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools efficiently to execute repairs with precision. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical failures. Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers or service advisors. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while delivering top-tier automotive service. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair industry standards. Expertise in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and diagnostics for modern vehicles. Knowledge of air brake systems and ability to perform repairs on commercial vehicles. Skilled in reading schematics for electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and powertrain components. Experience repairing diesel engines and working with heavy equipment mechanics is highly desirable. Proficiency in automotive suspension system repair, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement. Strong understanding of transmissions—manual and automatic—and powertrain repairs. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems including troubleshooting sensors, wiring harnesses, and control modules. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience working with vehicle maintenance schedules and auto estimating software. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required.
