Job Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our valued customers. Duties Diagnose automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems. Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines with precision and efficiency. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations to ensure safety and performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to complete repairs accurately. Interpret automotive electrical systems diagrams and schematics for effective troubleshooting and repairs. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle quality meets industry standards. Requirements Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and auto estimating software is preferred. Familiarity with Ford vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience with ADAS calibration is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot complex automotive electrical issues effectively. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude to deliver top-tier service. $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
