Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diagnostic Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing complex vehicle issues, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal vehicle performance. Duties Use automotive diagnostics equipment and schematics to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other modern systems Perform comprehensive repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and other mechanical components Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability Repair automotive electrical systems and troubleshoot issues related to vehicle wiring, sensors, and electronic modules Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical skills to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards Interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately to guide repair procedures on various vehicle makes, including GM vehicles when applicable Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process Experience Proven dealership or automotive repair industry experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair Hands-on experience working with ADAS technology, air brake systems, transmissions, suspension components, and diesel engines Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, wheel alignment procedures, and tire services Knowledge of automotive schematics and ability to read technical manuals confidently Experience working with heavy equipment mechanics or diesel mechanics is a plus Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards Join our team as a Diagnostic Technician if you're eager to leverage your technical expertise in a vibrant setting dedicated to excellence in automotive repair.
