Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mobile Recall Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing vehicle recall repairs and maintenance at various locations, ensuring that all vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Your expertise will help improve vehicle safety, enhance customer satisfaction, and support our commitment to delivering top-quality automotive services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of vehicles, including those equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), diesel engines, and complex mechanical systems. Responsibilities Conduct recall repairs and updates on a variety of vehicles, including GM and other major brands, following manufacturer specifications. Diagnose automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, suspension systems, brakes, and transmissions using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery to complete mechanical repairs efficiently. Adhere to safety protocols related to air brake systems, ADAS calibration, heavy equipment mechanics, and other specialized automotive systems. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and vehicle status. Assist in diagnosing complex mechanical issues involving diesel engines, automatic transmissions, automotive electrical systems, and mechanical systems repair. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on dealership or similar environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, transmission repair, suspension system repair, brake repair, and powertrain maintenance. Familiarity with schematics reading and electrical system troubleshooting is highly desirable. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures and air brake systems is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid automotive technician certification or mechanic license preferred; relevant training in diesel mechanics or heavy equipment mechanics is a plus.
