Monroe Nissan is looking for an experienced Nissan Automotive Technician to join our service team. This position is intended for an experienced technician who can diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently, produce quality work, and handle a steady workload. Previous professional automotive technician experience is required. Nissan dealership experience is strongly preferred. What We're Looking For Previous professional automotive technician experience required Nissan dealership experience strongly preferred Nissan certifications are a major plus Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to perform maintenance, repair, and major mechanical work Experience with engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems Ability to properly document technician stories and repair findings Comfortable performing MPI inspections and identifying needed repairs Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment Must have your own professional technician tools Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required Dependable, professional, and able to work as part of a team Responsibilities Diagnose customer vehicle concerns accurately Perform repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards Complete multi-point inspections on assigned vehicles Properly document cause, correction, and repair recommendations Communicate additional repair needs to the service department Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs Follow Nissan repair procedures and technical information Maintain a clean and organized work area Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Participate in Nissan training and certification programs as required Why Join Monroe Nissan?
