Mooresville Ford is looking for an experienced Used Car Technician to join our Service team! We're looking for a dependable, motivated technician to help keep our pre-owned inventory moving through the reconditioning process efficiently and properly. You'll work on a wide variety of makes and models, performing inspections, diagnosing concerns, and completing necessary repairs to get vehicles frontline-ready.

Responsibilities include: Perform thorough inspections on used vehicles Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns Complete necessary repairs and reconditioning work Perform routine maintenance including brakes, tires, fluids, filters, batteries, and other services Identify safety and mechanical concerns and provide accurate repair recommendations Work efficiently to help minimize reconditioning time Properly document completed work and needed repairs Maintain a clean and organized work area Work closely with Used Car and Service management to keep vehicles moving through the shop

Qualifications:

Previous automotive technician experience required Experience working on multiple makes and models is a plus Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must have your own tools Dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs Mooresville Ford is a family-owned and operated dealership that has served the Lake Norman community since 1961.
