Automotive Service Technician

Rockingham, NC

What You'll Do on a

Typical Day:

Adhere to all policies, procedures, and values of Snider Fleet Solutions

Diagnose and repair to specifications and perform all general maintenance services.

Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Replace batteries, change bulbs, belts, and hoses

Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals

Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.

Maintain an organized and neat shop.

Education or Experience:

Must have a clean driving record and be able to be insured by company standards

At least 3+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience

Certificates and Licenses:

ASE certifications preferred

Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Coachable, hardworking, and possess general mechanical aptitude.

Must have strong time management skills, as well as close attention to detail.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.

Ability to learn and operate provided service equipment and hand tools.

Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.

Basic computer and/or smart phone skills.
