Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to complete repairs that meet manufacturer standards. Service vehicles by replacing parts, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring proper operation of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other electronic features. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical problems. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and wheel alignments to keep vehicles running smoothly. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred; experience working on diesel engines is a plus. Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and ADAS calibration. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices including wheel alignment, transmission servicing, and powertrain repairs. Demonstrated ability to use automotive service software for auto estimating and repair documentation. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices.
