Simons Chevrolet GMC is looking for a skilled Automotive GM Technician to join our growing service team. If you enjoy diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Diagnose and repair vehicle concerns using advanced diagnostic equipment. Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and multi-point inspections. Repair and maintain engine, transmission, suspension, steering, and electrical systems. Perform wheel alignments and suspension repairs to manufacturer specifications. Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to diagnose electrical issues. Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation. Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians to deliver exceptional customer service. Stay up to date with GM repair procedures and emerging automotive technologies. Qualifications Previous automotive technician experience required; GM dealership experience preferred. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Proficient with automotive hand and power tools. ASE certifications are a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
