Rod's Quality Collision Center is looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality. Skills Proven experience as auto mechanic Ability to work with various mechanical and electrical components of vehicles Outstanding knowledge of vehicle systems and their functions Ability to handle various tools (e.g. wrenches) with care Willingness to submit to background checks Good physical condition and stamina High school diploma or equivalent; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship or on-the-job training will be an advantage Responsibilities Inspect vehicle engine, transmission and other mechanical components and diagnose issues Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.)aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise drivers on good vehicle use Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks) Maintain accurate logs on work and repair sessions Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner
