Job Description

The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include greeting customers, listening to their needs, and scheduling appointments as needed as well as providing support to the Fixed Operations department as a whole. Ranchland Ford is a friendly, customer-oriented store that seeks to serve its employees and patrons well. Greet customers promptly Obtain customer and vehicle information Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts Establish follow up time Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order Explain all completed work and charges to customers Assist the parts department as needed
Service Advisor Requirements:
Previous experience at a dealership is a plus Ability to identify the problem quickly Knowledge of automobiles Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant is a plus, but we will train the right candidate Very energetic personality A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization Personal and professional integrity Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment Positive, friendly attitude High school diploma or equivalent We are an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
