Role:
Hermsmeyer Detailing is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person who takes pride in doing high-quality work. As an Auto Detailing Technician, you will clean, restore, and protect vehicle interiors and exteriors while following our established processes and quality standards. You do not need previous detailing experience. You do need to be reliable, coachable, willing to work hard, and committed to improving your speed without sacrificing quality. We will teach you the skill. You bring the work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
What You'll Do:
Complete professional interior and exterior detailing services Follow established systems to produce consistent, high-quality results Properly clean and protect vehicle surfaces Inspect completed vehicles before customer delivery Take clear before-and-after photos Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized Help the team complete vehicles safely and on schedule Represent Hermsmeyer Detailing professionally

Training and Development:
During your first two to four weeks, you will receive structured, hands-on training in: Professional interior and exterior detailing Proper use of detailing products and equipment Efficient workflow and time management Quality-control standards Customer service expectations Our goal is to develop you into a skilled technician who can consistently produce premium results—not simply complete basic cleaning tasks. We are willing to invest in someone who is willing to learn, receive coaching, and improve.
Compensation and Growth:
This is a percentage-pay position based on the vehicles you help complete.
Training rate:
15% per completed vehicle Fully trained rate: 20% per completed vehicle Additional earning and advancement opportunities are available as your quality, efficiency, skills, and responsibility increase Your earning potential increases as you become more skilled, efficient, and capable of completing high-quality work independently. All compensation will meet applicable wage requirements for hours worked. Nebraska's minimum wage is $15 per hour as of January 1, 2026.
