Job Description

This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Tire and Lube Technician will change a vehicle's oil and filter. Check and fill fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges.

Tire and Lube Technician Responsibilities:
Draining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specifications Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid Inspecting the engine block and under body for leaks and potential issues Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications Installing new car parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers and batteries Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing Identifying existing issues and consulting with lead mechanics on the team to address the vehicles' issues Mounting and balancing of tires , performing tire repairs
Tire and Lube Technician Requirements:
Knowledge of automobiles Effective analytical and communication skills Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications Ability to lift 60 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow processes and follow safety guidelines Basic computer skills Positive, friendly attitude We are an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
