Job Overview Come and Join a well established and progressive Auto Repair Shop in Hastings. Pat's Auto Repair is a family owned business that has had continuing business since 1983. We handle Auto Repairs, Tire Services, and Towing Services and due to company growth potential we are in need of an experienced A+ auto technician. We will start you on an hourly basis until you are well established and then offer you the opportunity of working "Book Time". Our team is very comfortable with a 4 x10 work week and taking their Friday's off, however we will offer you the flexibility of negotiating your days, if you prefer to work on a Friday (ie. A Monday off or in between the week). Working for a small and conscious family business will allow the team to have the flexibility of working hard, being efficient, and maintain a positive life balance.

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the shop's high standards
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Qualifications
• 3+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• ASE Certification preferred but not required
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
