Recreational Vehicle Technician Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional service to our customers. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of RV systems and components, ensuring each vehicle is safe, reliable, and ready for adventure. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on RV electrical systems, suspension, HVAC, waste systems and plumbing to identify issues accurately. Perform repairs and maintenance including electrical systems, suspension, HVAC, waste systems and plumbing. Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble various RV components with precision. Troubleshoot automotive electrical systems such as lighting, wiring, batteries, and onboard electronics using specialized diagnostic equipment. Assist with assembly or reassembly of RV units during maintenance or after repairs while adhering to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and offering maintenance advice to enhance vehicle longevity. Requirements Experience or service technician background with a strong understanding of rv diagnostics and repair processes. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and heavy lifting safely. Experience working with automotive electrical systems and plumbing within RVs or similar vehicles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid mechanic experience with familiarity in auto body repair and assembly processes is preferred. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software and equipment used for troubleshooting complex electrical or mechanical issues is highly desirable.
