$35.00 per hour | Paid Weekly Isaiah Trucking, Inc., an independent FedEx contractor, is looking for an experienced Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our commercial delivery fleet. This is a hands-on position working on a mixed fleet of gas and diesel delivery vehicles , including step vans, cutaway vans, and medium-duty trucks. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical issues Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services Repair brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and other mechanical components Diagnose check-engine lights, electrical issues, and drivability problems Perform repairs on both gas and diesel vehicles Identify developing problems before they cause breakdowns Perform DOT-related inspections and repairs Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records Keep vehicles safe, reliable, and ready for daily operation Requirements Professional mechanic experience required Commercial truck, fleet, diesel, or medium-duty experience strongly preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and manage repairs from diagnosis through completion Must own and provide your own mechanic tools Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Dependable and able to complete repairs efficiently Experience with Ford, Chevrolet/GMC, Freightliner, International, Cummins, and Detroit-powered vehicles is a plus. Compensation $35.00 per hour Paid weekly This is a full-time position with consistent work maintaining an active commercial delivery fleet. Who We're Looking For This is not an entry-level mechanic position . We're looking for someone who can take ownership of fleet maintenance. You should be comfortable diagnosing a problem, determining what is needed, completing the repair, and getting the truck safely back into service without requiring constant supervision.
