Description About the Role Looking to break into the diesel industry? H.P., Inc. is hiring an entry-level Lube Technician to join our shop team in Omaha. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door, learn from experienced technicians, and build a career in diesel maintenance. No previous diesel experience required — just a solid work ethic, mechanical curiosity, and a willingness to learn. What You'll Do
- Perform oil and filter changes on diesel tractors
- Check and top off all vehicle fluids
- Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance services
- Inspect and service tires, shocks, lights, and other components
- Assist with small repairs including air leaks, brake adjustments, and shock replacement
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Support experienced technicians and shop operations as needed Requirements What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Mechanically inclined and detail-oriented
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record required
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand, walk, bend, or kneel for extended periods
- Ability to work safely and independently in a team environment
- Previous experience in lube, tire, or general vehicle maintenance a plus
