Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mainly Ford and GM vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our clients' vehicles operating smoothly. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on automotive electrical systems, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components using schematics and advanced diagnostic tools. Service and maintain vehicle systems including air brakes, wheel alignments, shocks & struts, tires, and wheel assemblies to ensure safety and reliability. Inspect vehicles and equipment thoroughly to identify issues; utilize schematics for troubleshooting electrical systems or mechanical failures. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive technician or heavy equipment mechanic with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle systems including diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, HVAC, and suspension components. Ability to read schematics accurately for diagnostics and repairs on complex vehicles. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on detail-oriented diagnostics for automotive electrical systems or mechanical failures. Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to handle heavy lifting safely during tire service or equipment maintenance tasks.
