Job Description
What a day in the life of a Plumber at REV looks like: Cutting and threading pipes using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe threading machine Bend pipes to the required angle by using a pipe bending machine or by bending by hand Join pipes by using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulk joints Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes Fill pipe systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to check for system leaks Required education, skills, and experience to be successful: Preferred 1-2 years of plumbing experience Preferred high school diploma or GED Ability to read and understand plumbing drawings within the first 90 days of employment. Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, and screw guns Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions Ability to work in a team environment Successful completion of the drug and background screening Physical demands of this role: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
