Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Shop Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of simple light duty diagnostics, service work and transmission install/removal. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise in a fast-paced environment, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. This position could also involve tear down of units, sandblasting and painting. However, no transmission experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate. We are committed to providing a paid position that fosters growth, skill development, and professional satisfaction. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive shop mechanic background with heavy equipment operation expertise. Strong mechanical knowledge covering automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and diesel mechanics. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, tire service tools, and other maintenance gear. Excellent customer service skills combined with strong mechanical aptitude; capable of explaining repairs clearly to clients or team members. Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions; safety-conscious mindset at all times. This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to advance their skills in heavy equipment maintenance while contributing to the safe operation of essential machinery across industries. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, good attendance and a want to learn more in the diesel industry. The opposites will not be tolerated.
