Company Overview Volvo Cars Exeter is a family owned dealership. Our service department has 10 bays, with plans to double the size of our shop with our renovations scheduled later this year. We have finished the last 2 years top in the nation for Customer Satisfaction, and our workload has increased significantly. Summary As an Automotive Technician at Volvo Cars, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of our vehicles. This position is integral to delivering out best in class Customer Satisfaction, and is the hearbeat of the dealership. We all work hard and have fun. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately. Execute repairs on various automotive systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Maintain and service vehicles according to manufacturer specifications. Diagnose and repair electrical systems in vehicles, including wiring and components. Assist in estimating repair costs and timeframes for customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction. Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Utilize schematics for troubleshooting complex vehicle issues. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with strong diagnostic skills. Perform Multi-Point Inspections & Send Multimedia reports to customers. Solid understanding of automotive repair processes and electrical systems. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and services required. Experience with auto estimating is preferred but not required.
