Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrains, transmissions, and mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail. Service vehicle components including brakes, suspension systems, shocks & struts, tires, and wheel alignments to ensure optimal performance. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools effectively for repairs and installations. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics. Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto electrical systems, and auto body repair techniques. Skilled in working with heavy equipment mechanics and diesel mechanics for large vehicle repairs. Familiarity with automotive suspension system repair, wheel alignment procedures, and tire service. Ability to repair and maintain transmissions, powertrain components, shocks & struts, and brake systems. Mechanical knowledge of automotive electrical systems combined with experience working from schematics. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools required for vehicle repair. Experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
