Job Summary 50-year Family-owned auto repair business Experienced and skilled mechanic/technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of automotive vehicles Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and overhaul mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and wheel alignments. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel balancing, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Work on heavy equipment mechanics tasks when necessary, including air brake systems and diesel engine repairs for commercial vehicles. Follow manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures to ensure quality work while maintaining safety standards. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and service recommendations to enhance customer service experience. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repairs a plus Hands-on knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics reading, and advanced diagnostic techniques. Experience repairing vvehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs.
