Overview Join our team as a Fleet Maintenance Technician / Standby CDL Driver , where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our bus fleet. This position combines hands-on vehicle maintenance with professional driving responsibilities. You will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the School Buses This is not a heavy diesel mechanic position.

Responsibilities include:

Oil and filter changes Greasing chassis Replacing air, fuel, and cabin filters Basic brake inspections and changes Tire inspections and replacements Light bulbs, wiper blades, batteries Fluid checks and topping off Keeping buses clean, organized, and inspection-ready Assisting with minor repairs as skills develop Heavy engine, transmission, and advanced diesel diagnostics are performed by outside repair shops. If you enjoy both mechanical work and professional driving, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement. or able to get one Enjoy mechanical work Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
