In this vital role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your energetic approach will help bridge the gap between customers' needs and our skilled technicians, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine passion for automotive repair with top-tier customer service, all while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment. This position is hourly beginning at 7:45 am though roughly 1:45 pm depending on the day. This position has potential to be moved to full time. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, including oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts, and other more extensive repairs. Use software and estimating tools to prepare accurate repair estimates Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle diagnostics and mechanical assessments to maximize customer value Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services Manage service writing tasks efficiently, including documenting customer interactions and service details clearly Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely while maintaining excellent client communication throughout the process Experience Automotive service experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repairs a plus. Hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive repair procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, shocks & struts, transmissions, and suspension work preferred, but not required.
