Auto Lot Staff Member Location:

Summit Auto Group - Neptune City, NJ We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Mechanic / Lot Technician to join our team. This position combines light mechanical work with maintaining the appearance and organization of our dealership lot. If you're reliable, enjoy working around vehicles, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities Perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance on inventory vehicles Change oil, replace brakes, perform tune-ups, and complete minor repairs Inspect vehicles for safety and mechanical concerns Move, park, and organize vehicles on the lot Keep the lot clean, organized, and presentable Check and maintain tire pressure, battery condition, and fluid levels Wash and prepare vehicles for sale or delivery as needed Assist with transporting vehicles to auctions, inspections, or service appointments Support the sales and service teams with daily dealership operations Qualifications Mechanical experience preferred (professional or personal) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time position with consistent hours Opportunities for growth and advancement Friendly, team-oriented work environment Employee discounts and benefits (where applicable)
