Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance procedures to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems effectively. Work on diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics tasks when required, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety and reliability upon completion. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, powertrain, suspension, brakes, and electrical components. Skilled in automotive diagnostics with familiarity in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology. Ability to read schematics accurately and perform repairs based on technical documentation. Experience repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics is a plus. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and communication. Valid certifications related to automotive repair; ASE certification is highly desirable. $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
