- Full-time Job Summary Come join our growing automotive team at McGuire Chevrolet in Newton.
Job responsibilities include:
All GM Training provided onsite Duties Greet customers warmly, establishing trust and confidence from the first interaction Promtly & professionally answering incoming service calls Setting & confirming service appt. Assess vehicle issues by listening to customer concerns and conducting basic diagnostics or vehicle inspections Prepare detailed service estimates using auto estimating software, clearly explaining recommended repairs and maintenance Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, transmission repairs, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, Upsell additional services and maintenance packages to enhance vehicle safety and performance while meeting sales goals Manage service writing processes accurately, documenting all customer interactions and repair orders in compliance with dealership standards Handle cash transactions to maintain accurate records of payments received Foster excellent customer service by providing updates on vehicle status, answering questions thoroughly, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process Requirements At least 2 years of service experience Strong attention to detail obtaining accurate customer & vehicle data Knowledge of automotive diagnostics combined with mechanical understanding of various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, alignments, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts Experience working with service technicians to coordinate repairs efficiently Skilled in auto estimating software and service writing procedures Ability to upsell services tactfully while prioritizing customer needs Cash handling experience and attention to detail in record keeping is essential Professional personal appearance & outgoing personality Team oriented & self motivated Join us to be part of our team dedicated to delivering exceptional automotive care!
