Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical wiring, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and suspension components such as alignment. Conduct engine repairs on gasoline and diesel engines, utilizing mechanical knowledge, power tools, and manual handling techniques for heavy lifting when necessary. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively. Execute routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and system calibrations. Use automotive diagnostic equipment to evaluate vehicle performance and determine necessary repairs or adjustments. Collaborate with team members to ensure all repairs meet quality standards while providing excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly. Qualifications Proven dealership experience as an auto technician with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, engine technology, and vehicle systems including ADAS features. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting complex issues. Hands-on experience repairing GM vehicles is highly desirable but not mandatory; familiarity with other brands is also valued. Skilled in working with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during vehicle maintenance or repairs requiring manual handling of parts or equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent customer service skills to enhance the overall client experience.
