Automotive Claims Adjusters At DOWC, we are continuously searching for qualified individuals to work within our rapidly growing Claims and Customer Service teams. We are searching for professionals who are currently employed in within automotive dealerships and are offering exceptional customer service in a dealership, repair facility or a call center. Technical experience is a plus. You must be career oriented and looking to take your skills to the next level. You will be working in a newly renovated corporate office with a private chef on-site, assisting our clients via telephone with their warranty needs and/or mechanical breakdowns. HYBRID/WFH
We are seeking candidates local to Parsippany, NJ. Our office has a full-service cafeteria on-site with a private chef, outdoor courtyard and walking trail, fun extracurriculars like bowling, softball, pickleball, etc.
Summary of Duties:
Answer daily phone call customer inquiries and resolve matters promptly related to service contracts and warranty claims Possess the ability and eagerness to learn and grow into the position Review and explain all inquiries pertaining to our contract guidelines. Able to communicate with customers effectively by telephone and computer Use multiple computer programs to provide customer service and review documents Provide roadside assistance and make payments Assist customers with any questions or concerns related to their contracts Adjudicate service claims using technical knowledge of car repair mechanics
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or a bachelor's degree a plus Hands-on automotive repair or equivalent automotive technical experience a plus An understanding of the theory of Automotive Technology and diagnostics is helpful Experience in a repair shop or dealership as a service advisor, technician, service manager, dispatcher, or handling AAA roadside assistance. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Proficient use of current computer systems such as Microsoft Office Ability to handle heavy phone volume Possess customer service skills around conflict resolution and negotiation Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, multitask, and always remain professional. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented. Bilingual (Spanish & English) candidates a plus but not a requirement. Come join our growing team here in Parsippany!
