Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic and Tow Truck Operator, where you'll be at the forefront of vehicle recovery, repair, and roadside assistance. This energetic role offers the opportunity to utilize your mechanical expertise and driving skills to assist customers in urgent situations while maintaining high standards of safety and service. You'll be responsible for diagnosing vehicle issues, performing repairs, operating tow trucks—including flatbed and wheel-lift models—and providing exceptional customer support. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to recover disabled or damaged vehicles, including flatbed and wheel-lift models Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues accurately Perform repairs on a variety of vehicles, focusing on mechanical systems and manual transmissions Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or specialized towing tools Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during roadside assistance or vehicle recovery Manage conflict situations professionally, ensuring safety for all parties involved Maintain detailed records of all services performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and tow logs Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repairs Hands-on experience operating tow trucks, especially flatbeds or wheel-lifts Knowledge of manual transmissions and automotive repair techniques Valid commercial driver's license with towing endorsements; experience in commercial driving preferred Familiarity with automotive tools such as forklifts and other load/unload equipment Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts effectively Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in automotive repair and roadside assistance while making a tangible difference for customers in need. Pay:
$25.78 - $31.05 per hour
