We service Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Range Rover, and VW. We hold 4.9 stars across 400-plus Google reviews, multiple Asbury Park Press Reader's Choice and Yelp awards, and we back our work with a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty. We got here one way. Everyone on the team gives 110 percent and owns their role. Most job ads list ten duties and call it a day. We would rather tell you the truth first.
Read this before you apply:
This role moves fast. You will juggle a dozen open loops at once — parts orders, incoming calls, appointment confirmations, loaner cars, deliveries, follow-up calls — and the whole job is making sure not one of them slips through the cracks. If a busy day with a lot of moving pieces wears you down, this is not the place for you. We built the business on trust, convenience, and quality. If your instinct is to cut corners to save a few minutes, or to tell a customer what they want to hear instead of the truth, we are not your people. We go above and beyond to win a customer for life, and we always do the right thing, even when no one is watching. JA Autowerks only works when every team member owns their role and their responsibilities. If that sounds exhausting, we are not the right fit, and that is okay. If it sounds like you, keep reading. Who we are looking for A strong communicator who is clear, professional, and comfortable on the phone An awesome attitude, brought every single day Hungry and focused, someone who finishes what they start A person who takes ownership instead of making excuses Notice what is not on that list. Years of auto shop experience. This is an entry-level role. If you have the attitude and the drive, we can teach you the rest. A foot in the door at a growing small business built on award-winning service is just the beginning. There is real room to grow here into higher-level operations roles, and we will help you build the skills to grow a career. What you will own As our Automotive Service Coordinator, you report to our Service Advisor Manager and keep the shop running smoothly. Day to day, that means: Parts and inventory: ordering quality parts at the right price, checking in deliveries, handling returns and warranties, and keeping shelves organized and accurate Front-end workflow: confirming appointments, answering calls and texts, and helping keep customers updated on their vehicles Customer experience and follow-up: 48-hour check-ins, thank-you cards, callbacks, and asking happy customers for reviews Loaner fleet: scheduling, weekly inspections, and keeping our loaner cars clean and ready Porter and customer convenience: keeping the parking lot sharp, picking up and dropping off vehicles, and shuttling customers when needed Quality control support: helping make sure every vehicle is road-tested, clean, and right before it leaves Full details live in the role's written job description, which we share with strong candidates. Pay and benefits $60,000 - $65,000 + per year for a strong performer, a weekly base plus performance pay tied to overall production, parts margin, and reputation management 401(k) with matching Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Employee discount Professional development assistance Requirements A valid driver's license. You will drive customer and loaner vehicles, and run will-calls A strong communicator with an awesome attitude, who is hungry and focused Reliable and organized, able to keep many things moving at once without dropping balls How to apply: We review complete responses first. To be considered, please reply with: A brief example of a time you had to juggle multiple responsibilities and made sure nothing was missed What draws you to a fast-paced, detail-oriented role like this one Tell us the real story. We are reading for how you think and how you own your work, not for buzzwords.
