Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tire services. Diagnose automotive issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and techniques. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, suspension systems, and alignment services. Work with both gasoline and diesel engines, demonstrating expertise in diesel engine repair as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently. Interpret schematics for complex automotive electrical systems to troubleshoot issues accurately. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all service requests. Experience Previous experience as an Automotive Mechanic is required; dealership experience is a plus. Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is desirable. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques, including mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems. Experience with auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating is an advantage. Knowledge of GM vehicles is preferred but not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent customer service skills to enhance client relationships and satisfaction.
