Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to complete repairs efficiently. Work with heavy equipment mechanics on specialized repairs involving diesel engines and air brake systems. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical issues. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair industry roles. Strong knowledge of automotive suspension systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and auto electrical systems. Experience with diesel engine repair, transmissions, auto body repair, and auto estimating is highly desirable. Skilled in using diagnostic software for automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, wheel alignment procedures, brake repair, and suspension work. Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics and auto body repair techniques enhances versatility. Ability to work independently or as part of a team using mechanical skills and attention to detail to deliver quality repairs promptly.
