Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician with a Class A license, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive suspension systems to restore vehicle performance. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and brake repairs to ensure optimal vehicle operation. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to repair or replace mechanical systems with precision. Diagnose and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), vehicle electrical systems, and other electronic components to meet modern automotive standards. Read and interpret schematics for complex mechanical systems repair and ensure adherence to safety protocols during all procedures. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, estimating costs accurately, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background working within the automotive repair industry is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, and maintenance across various vehicle types including GM vehicles or heavy equipment. Hands-on experience with diesel mechanics, air brake systems, transmissions, suspension systems, alignment procedures, and oil change services. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, welding techniques, and auto estimating software is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by the ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment mechanics. Prior experience working with schematics for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues is a plus.
